Artistic Directors:
Brandy McDermaid & Michelle Benedict
Artistic Directors Brandy McDermaid and Michelle Benedict have been dancing together for many years. As owners of Power Plus Productions dance studio and other community dance organizations, they grew to appreciate each other as business partners and share the same passion and vision of dance. In June of 2006, after 14 years in business, they sold their studio so that they could devote more time to their own families, talents, and pursuits. Even though the time had come to make this change, neither one really wanted to leave the world of dance. They started LOUD so that they, along with some of their former staff from Power Plus could continue to dance and perform. Over the years it has grown to include other dance teachers, studio owners, and even former students. Besides the studio, their combined professional dance careers include Nightline Professional Dance Company, SLCC Cheer Squad, Head Coaches of High School Dance teams, Utah Jazz halftimes, Utah Summer Olympics, All State Dance Team, UNLV Silver Bowl, Head Cheerleader and Drill Team Captain.
